Understanding Reproductive Isolation Based on the Rice Model

Qifa Zhang, Director of the National Key Laboratory of Crop Genetic Improvement at Huazhong Agricultural University and Editorial Committee Member of the Annual Review of Plant Biology, gives a talk titled "Understanding Reproductive Isolation Based on the Rice Model." In this lecture, he discusses the importance and various types of reproductive isolation in evolution. He uses as an example two different rice groups: Oryza sativa L. spp indica and O. sativa L. ssp japonica.
